Build Your Own Embedded System

Join the BeagleBoard.org community for two days of embedded training st ESC Chicago. This track immerses you in embedded Linux, providing hands-on training and an in-depth study into the world of ARM System-on-Chip (SoC) programming with the BeagleBoard, a community-driven single-board computer. The inexpensive BeagleBoard provides a key set of technologies in an inexpensive package that is ideal for learning—or for using as a basis for your next project. This series introduces the new BeagleBoard-xM, which builds upon the huge success of the BeagleBoard and directly addresses community requests with higher speeds, more memory, greater expansion capability, and the incorporation of a 4-port USB hub and Ethernet. Classes include instruction on embedded Linux, open-source projects like Qt, OpenGL ES, and Android, taught by experts in the field. These experts are also active members of the BeagleBoard community—come and join the discussion at http://beagleboard.org. Participants will receive their own BeagleBoard xM and an SD card that contains the distributions for the classes as well as demos, tools, and more.

Sessions and kits are Free to all paid conference attendees.

Purchase your conference pass today. * Attendees must attend the BYOES track to receive kit. Supplies and space are limited. Sessions will be on a first come, first serve basis.
